REPPERT FUNERAL HOME is proud to serve the funeral needs of Central Kentucky from a true Berea landmark - the historic Welch Mansion. The mansion, located at 110 North Broadway, was completed in 1896 and was home to the prominent Welch family, including Samuel Welch, an early Berea businessman who was vital in the establishment of the city. Originally founded as Rominger Funeral Home in 1919, the funeral home moved into the Welch mansion in 1945.
Current owners, Lonnie and Geraldine Rader Reppert have a distinct reputation in the community for years of sincere, personal service in a home-like atmosphere that reflects the dignity and respect you and your loved ones deserve.
Final Arrangements Specialist Lonnie Reppert, is a Rockcastle County native, a licensed funeral director and embalmer, and the funeral home manager. His dedication to the field also led him to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science from Berea College, an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from Mid-America College, and a Masters of Public Health Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
2004 will mark the 25th anniversary of the Repperts serving the area. Simply stated, the Repperts attribute their success to those they have served over the years. Their loved ones have entered into the peace of eternal life and the entire staff of Reppert Funeral Home strives to ensure their acts of love and goodness remain in the hearts of those who cherish their memory. May the beauty of their loved ones dwell among us as a lasting and loving blessing.
